Questions about MyKiddos? Here are the ones we hear most. If yours isn't here, just email us — a real person reads every message.
Is my child's data private?
Yes. MyKiddos has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party SDKs. Everything you log stays on your device and in your own private iCloud account — we never receive or see it. See the full Privacy Policy for details.
How does syncing between my devices work?
MyKiddos uses Apple's CloudKit to sync data through your own private iCloud database, the same mechanism apps like Notes and Photos use. As long as you're signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID, your entries appear on all your devices. A future update will add optional iCloud family sharing so a co-parent or caretaker can be invited into a shared record — still without any data passing through our servers.
How do I export my data?
Open MyKiddos, go to Settings → Export, and choose the child or date range you'd like to export. MyKiddos will generate a file on your device that you can save, print, or share — handy for a pediatrician visit or for keeping your own backup.
Does MyKiddos tell me what dose to give?
No. MyKiddos only records the doses and times you enter yourself, and reminds you once the wait time you configured has passed. It never calculates or recommends a dose or interval — always follow guidance from your child's healthcare professional or the medication's packaging.
I lost my data / it's not syncing — what do I do?
First, check that iCloud is enabled for MyKiddos under your device's Settings → [your name] → iCloud, and that you have an internet connection. Since data lives entirely in your iCloud account, there's nothing on our end to check or restore — but email us and we'll help you troubleshoot your device settings.
I have a billing question about my purchase.
MyKiddos purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. For refunds or billing issues, please use Apple's own reportaproblem.apple.com, since we do not have access to App Store payment records.
